Meaning of the Name Ranchhod Rai
It is believed that during the war between Lord Krishna and King Jarasandha, Lord Krishna left the battlefield to protect His devotees. Because He left the battlefield, He was lovingly called “Ranchhod”, meaning “the one who left the war.”
