By Train: There’s a central railway station in Madurai. Many trains arrive from cities like Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai, and Delhi, making travel very convenient.
By Road: This city lies on several national highways including NH-7, NH-45B, and NH-49. These national highways are being upgraded into multi-lane roads. If you are coming from Chennai or Bangalore, it will take you 8 to 10 hours.
