About Unjal Seva
The term ‘unjal’ is a swing during which the icons of Lord Sri Venkateswara with his consorts Sri Devi and Bhu Devi are taken on turns on the swing.
Thus one can see everything happening in Aina Mahal or Addala Mandapam, which is mirror hall located before the Ranganayaka Mandapam. It is lit using lamps to give it a sacred look and feel fully. At this juncture priests chant the Vedas and Mangala Vadyam or the Temple music and the environment gets spiritually serene for the devotees.
This is because Tirumala is known for these sacred activities as a great religious experience for those who reach it.
