Unjal Seva 2025: TTD Timings, Ticket Price, Srivani Trust Break Darshan

Srivari Arjitha Seva called Unjal Seva that takes place daily in Tirumala. Every day in Tirumala, four Srivari Arjitha Sevas are conducted. These four Srivari Arjitha Sevas are performed in front of the Utsava Murthis of Sri Devi, Bhu Devi along with Malayappa Swamy.

The four Arjitha Sevas are Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva, Arjitha Brahmotsavam and Sahasra Deepalankara Seva. All these four sevas are performed only for Utsava Murthis of Sri Devi, Bhu Devi along with Malayappa Swamy.

Here we will completely see about the seva called Unjal Seva, also known as Dolotsavam Seva.

Ticket Types for Arjitha Sevas

For these four Srivari Arjitha Sevas, two kinds of darshan tickets are issued:

  1. Srivari Arjitha Seva Tickets
  2. Virtual Online Participation Arjitha Seva Tickets

If you book Srivari Arjitha Seva tickets, you can directly see the seva in Tirumala and immediately after the seva is over, you can also have darshan of the Moolavar Lord Venkateswara Swamy on the same day. Both seva and darshan are included when we book this ticket.

If you book Virtual Online Participation Arjitha Seva tickets, then you cannot directly attend the seva in Tirumala. Instead, you can watch the seva live through SVBC Channel on TV or YouTube. Only the darshan of the Moolavar Venkateswara Swamy can be availed by visiting Tirumala on the date you selected while booking the ticket.

You can book Srivari Arjitha Seva tickets either through the TTD mobile app or TTD official website. These tickets are released three months in advance. For example, in August when the booking opens, the tickets will be for November month. Similarly, in September when tickets are released, they will be for December month. Thus, every time tickets are issued online three months in advance. Srivari Arjitha Seva tickets are usually issued in the third week of every month.

From one mobile login, a minimum of one Unjal Seva ticket and a maximum of two Unjal Seva tickets can be booked. One Unjal Seva ticket cost is ₹500.

TTD Rooms and Unjal Seva Ticket Link

If you want to book TTD Rooms online either in Tirumala or Tirupati, it is compulsory to have any one Tirumala Darshan ticket. This Unjal Seva ticket can also be used for booking TTD rooms. But, if you want to use the Unjal Seva ticket for booking TTD rooms, then from one mobile login you should have booked two darshan tickets at the same time. Only then the accommodation booking link below your darshan ticket will be enabled. If only one ticket is booked from a login, the accommodation link will not be enabled.

When TTD opens accommodation booking, on the same day, by clicking the Book Accommodation link below your darshan ticket, you can book TTD rooms either in Tirumala or Tirupati. Note: TTD does not provide rooms for a single person. Therefore, if only one ticket is booked, accommodation booking will not be enabled.

For children below 12 years of age, there is no need to book darshan tickets. They can be taken along during darshan with valid age proof like Aadhaar Card or School ID card.

If you book any one of these four Srivari Arjitha Sevas or any of the annual Arjitha Sevas like Teppotsavam, Vasanthotsavam, Pavithrotsavam, Pushpayagam or Jyesthabhishekam, then with the same mobile login, email ID and Aadhaar number used for booking, you cannot book any other Arjitha Seva ticket for the next 180 days.

This 180-day freezing period is calculated from your darshan date and not from your ticket booking date. Whether you attend darshan or not, the freezing period applies. Once booked, Arjitha Seva tickets cannot be cancelled or rescheduled. Only after completing the 180-day period from the darshan day, you will be eligible to book another Arjitha Seva ticket.

This 180-day time gap for Arjitha Seva tickets should not be compared with the 30-day gap for ₹300 Special Entry Darshan tickets or the 90-day gap for Angapradakshinam and Senior Citizen Darshan tickets.

Reporting and Venue Details for Unjal Seva

  • Reporting Time: 11:00 AM
  • Reporting Place: Supatham Entrance (situated at the beginning of the South Mada Street adjacent to Tirumala Temple).
  • Seva Start Time: 2:30 PM
  • Seva Venue: Aina Mahal (Mirror Hall) inside Tirumala Venkateswara Temple.

After darshan of Lord Venkateswara Swamy, a small laddu prasadam is given. Beyond this prasadam place, there is Vasupeshan (hand washing area), adjacent to which is the Aina Mahal, where the Unjal Seva is conducted.

Dress Code for Unjal Seva

  • Men: White shirt with dhoti or Kurta with Pyjama. Pants are not allowed.
  • Women: Saree or Salwar Kameez with Dupatta.
  • Children: No dress code.

Security Instructions

While joining the queue, mobiles, luggage, smartwatches, and electronic gadgets are not allowed. You can leave them in your accommodation room or deposit them at the Luggage Deposit Counter near Supatham Entrance. After darshan, you can collect them back from the same place.

At the entrance, first police officials will check tickets, then TTD officials will verify Aadhaar and ticket, mark the ticket, and allow further. There will also be baggage scanning and personal security checks before entering compartments.

Seva Process Inside the Temple

First, you must have darshan of Moolavar Lord Venkateswara Swamy. After receiving the laddu prasadam, wait inside the Aina Mahal for Unjal Seva.

  • At around 3:15 PM, after the Kalyanotsavam seva, the Utsava Murthis Sri Devi, Bhu Devi along with Malayappa Swamy are taken in procession with mangala vadhyams, white umbrellas and other traditions into the Aina Mahal.
  • In the middle of the hall, a swing (Unjal) is placed surrounded by mirrors so that devotees can see reflections of the deities.
  • The Utsava Murthis are seated on the swing.
  • The seva starts exactly at 2:30 PM and continues until 4:15 PM. Mantras are chanted, Maha Deeparadhana is performed.
  • After completion, all devotees are allowed to circumambulate around the swing inside the small hall.
  • At the end, naivedyam of cashews, almonds and kalkand (sugar candy) is distributed to devotees.

This Unjal Seva gives a very close darshan of the Utsava Murthis.

Important Notes

  • First, you must have darshan of Moolavar Venkateswara Swamy before attending Unjal Seva.
  • After darshan, do not leave the temple. Wait in Aina Mahal for seva.
  • After seva, you can exit the temple and collect free laddus (1 small laddu worth ₹50 free per ticket). Additional laddus: small laddu ₹50, big laddu ₹200.

Q1: Can we only have darshan of Moolavar Lord Venkateswara without attending Unjal Seva?
Ans: Attending Unjal Seva is not compulsory. If you wish, you can just have Moolavar darshan and leave. But once you exit, you cannot re-enter for seva with the same ticket.
